How to Connect Your Hospitable Account
Hospitable is a property management system that allows you to manage properties across multiple booking platforms. Our integration enables Hospitable customers to import and sync their property information and reservations into our system, providing automatic Location setup and personalized guest greetings.

Step-by-Step Setup Instructions
1. Access Integration Settings
- Navigate to your Porter Dashboard
- Select Account from the main menu
- Click on Integrations
2. Add Property Management Integration
- Under the Property Management section, click the Add button
- A new integration entry will appear
3. Connect to Hospitable
- Open the newly created integration
- Click Connect with Hospitable
- Sign in with your Hospitable account credentials when prompted
4. Configure Location Creation
⚠️ Important: Before performing the initial sync, decide how you want to handle Locations:
- If you haven't created Locations yet: Leave "Create Locations for each property" turned on
- If you already have Locations set up: Turn off "Create Locations for each property"
5. Perform Initial Sync
- Click Perform initial sync to import your property data
- Wait for the sync to complete
6. Link Existing Locations (If Applicable)
If you turned off automatic Location creation because you already have Locations:
- Navigate to each Location's Info section
- At the top of the page, find the Integrations section
- Select the corresponding Hospitable property from the dropdown menu
- Repeat for all Locations

What Happens After Setup
✅ Automatic Updates
Once connected, your integration will automatically stay synchronized:
- Property information updates within 5 minutes
- Booking changes reflect within 5 minutes
- New reservations are imported automatically
✅ Property Images
- The first image from each Hospitable property becomes available in your Location information
- These images can be easily used in your page headers
✅ Reservation Management
- Current and upcoming reservations are automatically tracked
- View reservation lists in each Location's Info section
- Guest names are matched with visits for personalized experiences
Troubleshooting Tips
Issue | Solution |
---|---|
Sync Issues | If data isn't appearing, try using the Test or Sync buttons in the integration |
Missing Properties | Ensure all properties are active in your Hospitable account |
Guest Matching | Guest recognition works when visit timing matches reservation check-in periods |
